Our Wal-Mart parking lot has looked trashy, nearly every day, since it opened a few years ago. On windy days, paper and plastic bags, litter nearby areas. Besides that, one ever knows what they are going to step on in the dark-baby diapers for example.
I applaud their effort for taking this step.

It is not Paula Creamer. This woman was older and blonde. It showed her hitting a golf ball and looking surprised at her shot. Driving a golf cart. Had a bag in it with a name but couldnt make it out.Some men were shown watching waiting impatiently while she played.Could be she is simply a model but was just wondering if she was a real golfer. She looked like a cross between Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST) and Diana Krall (jazz singer)
I always wonder how people judge me based on what I buy at the grocery store. Try to guess my age, where I live, my eating habits, my personality … anything you can guess! I’ll give my feedback with the best answer.

Bag of romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bananas, clementines, nutella, french baguette, pesto sauce, tzatziki dip, pretzels, Diet Coke, Fresca, milk, goat cheese, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee

I ask because a woman in front of me at Target used a shopping cart for her things but decided not to purchase a big toy for her child. Since the remainder of her items fit into two plastic bags, she simply took them and started to walk away, leaving the cart behind and right in front of me (I also used a cart).
Blocking way walkway, I called her and said "take your cart" which she responded with a blank stare.
I just got a parcel job at a food market. What I do is:
- Assist Customers by loading parcels into vehicles, maintain the outside area of the store
- Maneuver grocery carts, bags of groceries, and parcels
- Retrieve carts from parking lot
- Retrieve products from shelves
- Put away returned items
- Fill bag racks
- Assist cashiers
- and the worst of all, clean out can and bottle return areas, along with the BATHROOM!
With all this I’m also getting paid only aorund 7.80-8.00$/hr…
Toys"R"Us has openings for a sales associate and I’d much rather do that job instead basically because my duties would be much better. I would be,
- Trying to sell products to customers on the selling floor
- Stock shelves
- Maintain backroom areas
- Process customer pick-ups and operate cash registers as needed
Assuming that I get the job at Toys"R"Us, is it okay to just quit my current job after having worked for several days?
For those who need to know, I’m 18-20 yrs old.
Hmm, seems like it’s okay to do so based on the answers I’m getting. But I do I go about telling my boss? Do I lie and say something happened and I can’t work for them, or do I just say I found another or better job?
